Dorodango Information and Our Free Matrix Simulator

The official website of dorodango.

This page covers dorodango information and our free matrix simulator. It explains the site's own software and the limits of external commercial claims. A query, domain name or browser game does not authenticate an operator, craft seller or workshop.

The craft meaning and its source

Bruce Gardner describes hikaru dorodango as hand-shaped mud spheres that are dried and polished. His craft introduction and making guide describe the physical activity. This browser simulator is separate from that craft and has no material object to buy.

Making, buying and workshop queries

Queries such as dorodango maken, kopen, workshop, ball and kit point to different information needs: making an object, purchasing it, finding instruction or identifying materials. None proves a gaming business. This guide does not authenticate a supplier, instructor, booking date, kit contents, price or availability.

For a proposed purchase or workshop, identify the exact seller or organiser and read its own current product description, terms and contact details. A matching word in a domain or an unrelated browser game cannot authenticate that offer. No shopping recommendation or commercial comparison is made here.

Three whole-matrix determinant scores

Each round draws three independent 2 by 2 matrices. Their four entries are independent uniform digits from 0 to 3. With entries a,b on the top row and c,d below, the raw score is the absolute value of a times d minus b times c. A zero determinant scores zero; a negative determinant contributes its positive absolute value.

Each whole matrix uses one third of the captured total stake. The three matrix returns are added. No individual cell row is paid separately, and there are no paylines, wild symbols or matching-symbol bonuses. Low weighting takes the square root of a positive score, Medium keeps it and High squares it. Zero remains zero.

Exact weighting and expected gross return

There are 256 equally likely digit arrangements per matrix. Each weighting has its own mean calculated over those arrangements. The gross multiplier for one matrix is 0.96 times its transformed score divided by that mean. Applying it to one third of the stake and adding the three credits gives 96% expected gross virtual return for the round.

The raw determinant is not the final payout. For [1,2;3,0], the determinant is minus six and the raw score is six. The unnormalised Low, Medium and High weights are the square root of six, six and thirty-six. Each still needs its own normalising factor. A zero result remains zero in every mode, so weighting changes amounts without changing positive-result frequency.

Expected gross return is neither net profit nor a promised wallet balance. The stake was deducted before settlement. Random matrices remain random even though their probabilities can be enumerated exactly. Timing, patterns and prior results do not establish an advantage.

Captured rounds and persistent free coins

A new browser wallet starts with 1,000 free virtual coins. Balance and fractional-credit carry persist in localStorage; refresh does not restore coins. Free refill is optional and available only below the minimum stake when the game is idle. It sets balance to 1,000 and preserves carry.

Stake and weighting are captured when a round starts. Controls and refill are locked during settlement and an automatic queue. Automatic play runs at most ten rounds. Stop prevents future rounds while an active round finishes. Insufficient balance prevents a new stake rather than creating debt. Coins have no cash value or transfer facility.

Browser storage and external requests

The simulator stores balance and fractional carry in browser localStorage. Pages request Google Fonts and a Statinside analytics script. Server, CDN and external-resource requests can expose IP, browser, device, path and request information. No anonymity, retention duration, cookie lifetime or complete third-party processing profile is established.

The guide supplies no account or identity-document form. That does not mean browsing produces no personal data or that requests cannot be associated with someone. Cache clearing alone may leave localStorage. Removing site data can erase local wallet state without deleting records already held elsewhere. A local refill does not itself require a network transaction.

Frequently asked questions

Is a casino operator established by this query?

No. The search intents do not authenticate a gaming operator. This site has an independently created mathematical simulator.

How is a matrix scored?

Take the absolute value of a*d minus b*c for its four entries. Zero scores zero; each whole matrix uses one third of the round stake.

Does 96% guarantee my final balance?

No. It is expected gross virtual return per stake, calculated over 256 equally likely arrangements for each matrix and each weighting.

Does refresh restore my coins?

No. Balance and fractional carry persist in localStorage. Idle low-balance refill sets balance to 1,000 and preserves carry.

Can coins be withdrawn or used to buy a kit?

No. They have no cash value, withdrawal facility or relation to an external purchase.
